Kosmoceratops had ten horns and spikes on its frill, two horns above each eye, one horn on the tip of its nose, and one horn coming out of each cheekand. It is had close relatives in Alberta Canada. Horned dinosaurs moved back and forth across western North America during with alternating periods of isolation and exchange between the north and south part of the continent during the Cretaceous Period. Euoplocephalus up to 18 feet long and weighing over two tons. Its body was low-slung and very flat and wide, standing on four sturdy legs. Its head had a short drooping snout with a horny beak to bite off plants that were digested in the large gut. The armoured dinosaur ranged over over western Canada and the US.

Gryposaurus monumentensis is unique compared with other species of Gryposaurus in that it the front part of the “beak” rises at a steeper angle. Three to four species of Gryposaurus have been found with a range from as far north as Alberta, Canada, to as far south as Texas, making Gryposaurus the genera with one of the largest geographical ranges. Gryposaurus was a very large duck-billed dinosaur – easily reaching the same size as Tyrannosaurus rex.
