The big box stores seemed to primarily stock the large boxed sets, the Flight, Muddy and Glow in the Dark packs, rather the full range of individual figures. There eleven large interaction figures they are articulated and have chips with up to 40 words and phrases.  They look like bigger more expensive versions of the Fisher-Price Imaginext.

 

The 25 large bulk figures are my favorite and include Giganotsaurus, Argentineosaurus, Daspletosaurus and Einiosaurus.

Dinosaur Train Large figures

Takara Tomy from Japan has replaced Learning Curve for the Dinosaur Train franchise. Their future direction is away from the realistic figures and they will now concentrate on the anthropomorphic lead characters and large animatronics figures. Anecdotal evidence from PT retailers is that sales were disappointing.
