Dinosaur Collector presents

Bullyland

update 020610

Bullyland of Germany is a veteran figure maker from Germany that has produced many dinosaur lines. Established in 1973 by Volkmar Klaus, first production was in a small garage in Spraitbach, a village near Stuttgart. Over the years Mr. Klaus became known throughout the world as Mr. BULLY, because of his choice of the French Bulldog as his company trademark. Dinosaurs were first marketed in 1992, and 1997 brought Dino Village and the Prehistoric Museum Line, which is via the Natural History Museum in Stuttgart, Germany. Bullyland also has the Prehistoric Mammal and Evolution of Man lines of Museum Quality figures. Other lines include the medium-sized hand-painted figure line, characterized by the use of bases for the figures, the mini line of dinosaur pencil tops, and a recent Micro animals line of Dinosaurs.  There is also a line of large Softplay figures based on the medium line of plastic figures, including some extra large versions popular as store displays.  Bullyland has at great expense worked to make their current production PVC free to increase child North American operation. Micro Tiere and retired mini figures. Medium Museum Series or Standard size figures and Disney Dinosaur characters. Natural History Museum in Stuttgart Germany Collection
micro tiere Bullyland Bullyland Standard Bullyland Stuttugart
The mini figures were also made as pencil tops. The micro tier figures are among the best for their size. These figures are not common outside of the EU. The Disney figures were only in distribution for a short time and are now very rare. There have been three different Tyrannosaurus figures for this series and recycled the original Tyrannosaurus as an Allosaurus before the current figure was created.  The second was an excellent figure, and the first ever bipedal Tyrannosaurus for any line.  The scale is mixed and figures are often released in more than one color.  Traditionally, at least one figure is released each year. Bullyland has been upgrading the figures of the Museum line, and has some of the best therapods of any toy line.

Dinosaur Surprise Eggs
Dinosaur Surprise Eggs are hand painted with bases and marketed in both with and without eggs.  Colors can vary. The Stegosaurus is retired. The Torosaurus was a first when released.
