MAROLIN Dinosaurs

Marolin (VEB Plaho) an East German company that marketed figures possibly based on old molds dating back to the 30's. The figures were reputed to be done in conjunction with the Leipzig Museum. The Brontosaurus was recently included in an electric train set.

Pteranodon, Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Monclonius, Iguanodon and Mammoth.
The figures capture the flavor of the time. Pteranodon has the look of the Messmore & Damon pictures I have seen. there were also some tress Palm, Oak and Pine. Monoclonius is is an interesting choice.
