From the Dinosaur Collector:

The Wealden

of north-west Europe preserves the best Early Cretaceous dinosaurs.  Low-lying areas with broad meandering streams and lakes characterized it.

There were a variety of different Iguanodons living in the Wealden the largest was Iguanodon bernissartensis that had the famous thumb spike that was originally reconstructed as a nose horn.  Iguanodon atherfieldensis was smaller and lacked the spike.  There are at least 3 other species from Europe.  They have been reconstructed as living in and around marshes and lakes.  Polacanthus finds have often been associated with those of Iguanodon. You can see here what their environment might have looked like with a reconstruction of children's toys

Use the scroll bar to examine the complete panorama.  First is a remote control Disney Aladar the Iguanodon, slightly behind in a German KleinWelka Iguanodon.  Scroll to the right, another Disney Aladar originally part of a collectable cup.  Last is a PlaySkool Definitely Dinosaurs Polacanthus.

Pelosaurus may be a late surviving relative of Brachiosaurus or a titianosaur like Saltasaurus.  I will treat is it as a brachiosaurid until better remains are found disproving the relationship.  Smaller and known from incomplete fossils it may have been related to the North American Astrodon.  Its remains are found with Iguanodon in the Wealden.  It seems a likely prototype for Disney's Baylene charter from the Dinosaur movie.

Disney's Dinosaur happy meal toy

MacDonald's produced 4 different sets of Disney's Dinosaur happy meal toy sets.  Here is the US, European and Asian versions of the Baylene the last brachiosaurid.

Baryonyx had long, flat jaws like a crocodile with a spoon-like snout and the large hand claw was backed up by very strong forelimbs.  It had 128 teeth instead of the usual 64 of carnosaurs, and twice as many teeth in the upper jaw than in the lower jaw. It lived in a sub-tropical delta with Iguanodon.

Jurassic Park Baryonyx

JP Baryonyx the brown is from the JP II series while the green is the rare electronic released after the first movie.  Center is the baby Baryonyx from the action figure blister pack.

The brachiosaurid Pelorosaurus ( Monster Lizard) was 78 feet long but is thought to  lack a claw on the front foot characteristic of the family.  It had small armored nodules in is skin, similar to the armor found on the titianosaur Saltasaurus.  Titanosaurids and brachiosaurids are though to be related closely within the sauropod family so perhaps this is a feature inherited from a common ancestor.

JP III Brachiosaurus Thunder Beasts Brachiosaurus

JP III Brachiosaurus, babies from the action figure blisters.  On the right is a Thunder Beasts Brachiosaurus.  This is from the later series of smaller Thunder Beasts.
